At Rottweiler Haven Pups, the health and well-being of every puppy is one of our highest priorities. We take careful steps to provide our puppies with appropriate veterinary care, vaccinations, deworming, and a healthy start before they join their new families.
Every puppy leaves our care after receiving age-appropriate veterinary attention and a general health assessment. Puppies are provided with applicable health records so their new family can continue their care with their veterinarian.
Our goal is to place healthy, well-socialized puppies with families who are prepared to provide them with proper nutrition, veterinary care, exercise, training, and a safe home environment.
We recommend that the new owner have their puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of delivery or pickup.
This examination allows your veterinarian to establish a health baseline and identify any concerns that may require attention.
If your veterinarian identifies a significant health concern during the initial examination, please contact Rottweiler Haven Pups promptly and provide the relevant veterinary documentation.
Puppies receive age-appropriate vaccinations and deworming according to their individual stage of development and veterinary recommendations.
All available vaccination and deworming information will be provided with the puppy’s health records.
Because puppies continue developing after leaving our care, the new owner is responsible for following their veterinarian’s recommended vaccination, parasite-prevention, nutrition, and wellness schedule.
After adoption, the new owner is responsible for providing regular veterinary care, including:
Routine wellness examinations
Required vaccinations and boosters
Appropriate parasite prevention
Proper nutrition
Exercise and socialization
Preventive healthcare
Any necessary medical treatment
A puppy’s long-term health depends greatly on responsible care and regular veterinary attention.
Our health guarantee applies only to conditions specifically covered by the written purchase agreement provided to the buyer.
The guarantee does not cover health problems resulting from accidents, injury, neglect, improper nutrition, failure to obtain recommended veterinary care, environmental factors, infectious exposure after leaving our care, or other circumstances outside the breeder’s control.
Normal puppy development and conditions that are not covered by the written health guarantee are excluded.
The complete terms, exclusions, and duration of the health guarantee are provided in the Puppy Purchase Agreement/Health Guarantee supplied to the buyer.
Please review the agreement carefully before completing your purchase. If you have questions about our health guarantee or a puppy’s health records, contact us before making your decision.
